Celebrate Comcast NBC Universal’s continued commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by developing a virtual experience with the Black Employee Network (BEN) to highlight the significance of Black History Month. Champion Black Excellence within the Comcast organization and those who are leading by example in the community.

Curated the BEN Comcast Black History Month Fireside Chat, which highlighted the rich cultural heritage and achievements of those both past and present in the Black community. This virtual event opened with a Black History video, followed by a fireside chat that included Senior Vice-President of Comcast Keystone Region, Ricky Frazier, Jr., Vice President of Maintenance and Construction Comcast Freedom Region, Victoria Boston, Co-Founder of HBCU Heroes, Tracey Pennywell and Director of the Community Engagement Center – Homewood (University of Pittsburgh), Vernard Alexander. The fireside chat was moderated by media strategist and CEO of JRT Multimedia, Jocelyn R. Taylor. This private virtual event took place for approximately 1 hour and educated as well as inspired all of those in attendance.

• Approximately 75 attendees from the Black Employee Network (BEN).
• Over 100K combined social media impressions were generated for Comcast.
• Shared messaging on all Outspoken Media Group related social media platforms, which created engagement internally and externally for Comcast.
• Demonstrated Comcast Keystone Region’s commitment to highlighting Black Excellence both inside and outside of the organization as well as working with Black owned and operated businesses such as Outspoken Media Group.
• Panelists provided critical career development advice for those in attendance.
